Credit hours required: 45 hours per reporting period
Specialty credits required: 5 hours of ethics or professionalism and 1 hour on lawyers’ statutory duty to report child abuse. In alternate reporting periods, at least 3 additional hours must be in programs accredited for access to justice (elimination of bias) under Rule 5.5(b).

Compliance date: December 31
Compliance group: All attorneys report every 3 years. The first reporting period for new admittees begins with admission date and ends on December 31 of the next calendar year. All subsequent reporting periods are 3 years.

Minutes per credit hour: 60 minutes
Attendance Reporting Procedure: The ABA reports attendance to the Oregon State Bar within 30 days after each live program. The ABA does not report attendance for recorded products.
Approval of ABA Programs
The ABA is an accredited sponsor in and is approved for the following formats.
Approved Live Program Formats Live, in-person meetings (e.g., National Institutes) Webinars and teleconferences
Approved CLE Product Formats CDs, CD-ROMs, and DVDs On-demand online courses CLE downloads
Recorded products may be used for credit for up to 3 years from the original recording date.
