New Jersey

New Jersey is a self reporting state. You may submit your credits received in another state to the New Jersey Board on Continuing Legal Education

The UNG is not an accredited CLE provider in New Jersey and does not submit individual program applications to New Jersey. New Jersey attorneys may be eligible to receive credit for UNG programs through the New Jersey reciprocity provision that allows New Jersey attorneys (1) who are satisfying the CLE requirements of another state or (2) who are taking courses approved for CLE by another state to receive credit on a 1:1 basis for courses approved in that jurisdiction (NJ Reg. 201:4; see also the NJ FAQs. UNG programs are approved for CLE in New York (a 50-minute state like New Jersey). The reciprocity provision may be used by New Jersey attorneys to earn New Jersey credit as long as they are otherwise satisfying the New Jersey MCLE program requirements. There is no fee for New Jersey attorneys to use the reciprocity provision.
